Candle Care 101
Before you even set the mood here are some tips and tricks to get the most out of your candle.
Trim Your Wick
It is important to trim your wick one fourth of an inch before each use to prevent soot (excess black residue) from forming in your candle jar.
Never Leave Trimmed Wicks In Your Candle Jar
It is a fire hazard and takes away from the beauty of your candle.
Never Leave Your Candles Unattended
To ensure the safety of you, your loved ones, and your living space— please keep an eye out on your candle while it is lit.
Four Hour Rule
To ensure that you get a clean and even burn allow your candle to stay lit for four hours the first time you use it. After the initial burn be sure to not go over a four hour burn time to preserve the candle and its scent.
Be Mindful of Your Space
For an optimal experience follow our suggested use— our 7 oz candles are created for smaller spaces and our 13 oz candles are ideal for larger, more open spaces (i.e. living rooms).
